Since our Senior Fraud Analyst Sarah Spires joined Nuvision nearly eight years ago, we’ve seen how she makes a difference in the lives of others. Along with generously sharing her knowledge with those who need it most, Sarah leads a busy life as the mom of three boys and spends many off-work hours volunteering in the community. Sarah consistently finds ways to apply her time, resources, and know-how to improve the lives of others. That’s why we chose her as this month’s Nuvision hero.

When we give, we create a ripple effect of generosity throughout our community. Starting today, Nuvision members can make charitable donations directly from their Nuvision accounts to any of the 1.6M, vetted 501c, IRS-approved non-profits. This includes charities, schools, religious organizations, and native nations!

If asked to define the word ‘hero,’ many automatically think of superhero movies or tales of ancient legends. But real-world heroes walk among us, people who go far beyond their call of duty to help make our communities better places to live. Unfortunately, these people rarely show up in Hollywood movies, but their work makes an impact far beyond anything you see on the big screen. That’s why we started the Nuvision Heroes program. To highlight the work of people we consider heroes and give them the recognition they deserve.

As we wrap up the new year, we wanted to give a big thanks to everyone who helped with and donated to one of our many holiday toy drives. We were overwhelmed by the generosity of our members and our team, and we are happy to report that we were able to make the holiday season something to remember for quite a few children in need.
