In your time of need, our claims process is quick and easy. If you elected Payment Protection on your consumer loans through Nuvision with TruStage™, you can use this convenient claims process to quickly and easily file your claim online. To begin, please fill out a claim form at TruStage, for one of the following coverages: 


- Life Plus

- Disability

- Involuntary Unemployment


If you prefer, call 800.621.6323 and a TruStage™ claims specialist will guide you through the process.  


Debt Protection is optional and will not affect your application for credit or the terms of any credit agreement required to obtain a loan. Certain eligibility requirements, conditions, and exclusions may apply. Please contact your loan representative or refer to the contract for a full explanation of the terms. You will receive the contract before you are required to pay for Debt Protection. You may cancel the protection at any time. If you cancel protection within 30 days you will receive a full refund of any fee paid.

Debt Protection Claims FAQ

How do I file a claim?  +
File online using the link on our website or calling TruStage directly at (800) 621-6323.
How soon will I know the status of my claim?   +
In most cases, within a few days, so watch for communication in your email.
How will I receive claim benefits?  +
Benefits are sent directly to the Credit Union, at which time they are reviewed and posted to the account.
Do I need to make my loan payments if I have a claim pending?  +
Whether or not you have made a claim for benefits, you remain obligated to the Credit Union to comply with the terms of your loan agreement. 
What documents do I need to provide to file a claim?  +
No documents are needed to initiate a claim. TruStage will reach out to you directly to request any required documents.
