October 21st is the 73rd annual International Credit Union Day–and we can’t wait! It’s the perfect opportunity to reflect on the importance of our mission and celebrate the members like you who make it possible. To thank you for your membership on this day, we’ll be hosting a $100 gift card drawing on Instagram.

The IRS has proposed adding a reporting provision to the $3.5 billion spending bill currently being discussed in Congress, which will require financial institutions like Nuvision to report all transactional information about your spending habits to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). We feel it is our responsibility to alert members about this concerning legislation and provide you with as much information as possible to help you push back against this infringement on your rights.

For our California members, the state’s eviction moratorium is set to expire for September 30th which will affect members who currently rent property. We encourage those to apply for the California COVID-19 Rent Relief Program to get assistance for expenses such as rent, utilities, and use housing protections to prevent evictions.

As our membership base in Alaska has increased and expanded to new regions, we’ve been thrilled to watch the Nuvision family grow. We’ve also noticed the need for additional branch locations. Today, we are happy to announce that a new beautiful new branch is coming to Wasilla!
