A Better Digital Banking Experience Is Coming to Nuvision

Digital banking should make life easier. You should be able to log in, see what you need, make a payment, move money, and get on with your day without wondering which menu something is hiding under.
That’s the thinking behind the changes coming soon to Nuvision Digital Banking.
We’ve listened to member feedback, looked at the parts of the experience that can be frustrating, and focused on making both online and mobile banking simpler to use. That means a more useful home screen, easier navigation, a better way to manage loan payments, and stronger security behind the scene.
Some things will look different, and a few familiar buttons will be in new places, but the goal is straightforward: make Digital Banking easier to use and help members get where they need to go faster.
Transforming Your Home Screen Into a Dashboard
Once our enhancements are live, the first thing you will notice is the new home page.
Your accounts and balances will still be easy to see, but the updated digital experience will do a lot more than it does today. You’ll be able to mark favorite accounts, see recent activity as soon as you sign in, and get to the things you use most without digging through menus.
If you regularly transfer money, use Zelle, manage your cards, or make payments, those shortcuts can be right there when you log in.
The new layout will be tailored based on how you bank with Nuvision. Someone with several checking accounts may want quicker access to transfers and payments, while someone with only a certificate may be more interested in account information or exploring other products.
The idea is to make the home screen feel less like a generic starting point and more of a useful snapshot of the things that matter to you.
The Mobile App Is Getting Easier To Use Too
We've devoted considerable attention to improving the mobile experience.
Navigating between accounts is now faster and more intuitive. Instead of scrolling through a long list, members can simply swipe between accounts on the carousel across the top of the screen and immediately view recent activity and account details.
We've also rethought the placement of key actions. By moving the most commonly used features closer to the bottom of the screen, the experience feels more natural and accessible, particularly for members using their device with one hand. Small design decisions like this can have a meaningful impact on everyday usability.
No More Hunting Through Menus
Over the last few years, we’ve made valuable changes to Digital Banking – meaning more tools, more services, more options. The tradeoff being significantly expanded menu options. Members have told us they can’t always find where to make a payment or where a particular service lives. Your voice helped drive change, so we’re bringing you intuitive and searchable new menu layouts.
Long drop-down menus are being replaced with cleaner pages that group related activities together and clearly define each option. Looking for transfers, payments, branch locations, secure messages, appointments, or rates? It'll be clear where to go.
Each of those pages also has a search bar. Type "payment" and you'll see the payment options available to you; no need sift through menus for the right choice. This new layout is available on both desktop and mobile banking.
Loan Payments In One Place
We’re also improving how you make payments to Nuvision loans.
The new loan payment experience connects directly to Digital Banking, offering more of what you need in one place. Have multiple loans with Nuvision? See them all in one location with current balance, amount due, due date, and your Autopay settings.
This will lend clarity to “where do I make this payment?” and “did I already set this up?”
You’ll still have the capability to make payments outside of Digital Banking, including by phone, but the experience inside Digital Banking will be improved.
Stronger Login Security Is Also Coming
Not every change is about how Digital Banking looks. Some of the most important changes are happening behind the scenes to better protect your account.
Enhanced authentication will soon be required for all members when accessing Digital Banking. If you haven’t activated this service, Digital Banking will walk you through the process. You’ll use a Secure Access Code during the initial setup, and after that, enhanced authentication will become part of the way you securely access your account.
There’s a good reason for the change. Nuvision has already seen a meaningful reduction in losses tied to online account takeovers since enhanced authentication was introduced. Expanding that added protection to all members is another step toward making Digital Banking safer without making it harder to use.
Why Change It Now?
The key driving factor in these changes is our member feedback.
We identified several areas of opportunity within both our desktop and mobile Digital Banking spaces that will address key areas of friction shared by you and other members.
To continue bringing you best in class service offerings, we first need to ensure your digital account, personal information, and money are as secure as possible. Our security enhancement will keep you safe while allowing us to continue improving the self-service capabilities we provide through the digital channels.
Built Around How Our Members Bank
At Nuvision, we’re always looking for ways to make banking easier, more useful, and more secure for our members. These Digital Banking updates are part of that ongoing effort.
We know change can take a little getting used to, especially when it involves something you use all the time. That’s why we’ll continue to share updates, tips, and resources as the new experience rolls out.
At the end of the day, Digital Banking should work the way you need it to: quick when you’re in a hurry, simple when you’re trying to find something, and secure every time you log in. That’s what we’re working toward, and we’re looking forward to bringing these improvements to our members.
