Grand Opening Mesa Branch

On Wednesday, February 18, Nuvision Credit Union officially opened a door to the next chapter of our 40-year relationship with the Mesa community.

More than 70 members, city and civic leaders, and community partners joined us for the ribbon cutting — a great turnout and a strong show of support from the Mesa community.

Expanding Access in Mesa: A Branch Built for Everyone

While the building is brand new, our roots here go deep. For decades, Nuvision has been “behind the fence” at the Boeing site, serving the hardworking teams that keep our world moving. Since Nuvision was originally founded to serve aircraft employees nearly 90 years ago, standing here in Mesa—just minutes from Falcon Field—felt like history coming full circle.

But as our CEO Roger Ballard shared during the ceremony, this new branch represents something bigger: access.

“We really focus on fulfilling one mission, and that is to help people build their lives,” Roger said.

For years, being on-site meant limited access for families and retirees. This new branch removes those barriers—literally and figuratively—and opens our doors wider than ever before. Ken Robinson of The Boeing Company echoed that sentiment, noting that while the on-site branch has long been a valuable resource for employees, access for family members and the broader community was limited — and this new location offers a much better experience.

Where History Meets Innovation

It was a morning of looking back and moving forward. We were honored to have the Mesa Chamber of Commerce, City Councilmember Alicia Goforth, and our long-time partners from Boeing join us to mark the occasion.

But beyond the speeches, the focus was simple: building a better experience for our members. We designed this branch based on what you told us you wanted — more convenience, more privacy, and more flexibility.

  • A “Live” Touch: Our new ITMs give you the speed of an ATM with the personal help of a live teller.
  • Industry Firsts: We’re proud to introduce Arizona’s very first drive-thru ITMs, making banking as easy as grabbing a coffee.
  • The Best of Both Worlds: Whether you want to walk in for a handshake or manage everything from your phone, we’ve built this space to meet you where you are.

Investing in the Mesa Community

A Nuvision opening isn’t complete without giving back to the community that welcomes us. We were incredibly proud to present checks to two organizations doing vital work right here in Mesa: Paz De Cristo Community Center and VFW Post 1760.

Helping people build their lives is our mission. Supporting the organizations that serve Mesa every day is simply part of that commitment.
