A Better Digital Banking Experience Is Coming to Nuvision

Digital Banking Upgrade

Digital banking should make life easier. You should be able to log in, see what you need, make a payment, move money, and get on with your day without wondering which menu something is hiding under.

That’s the thinking behind the changes coming soon to Nuvision Digital Banking.

We’ve listened to member feedback, looked at the parts of the experience that can be frustrating, and focused on making both online and mobile banking simpler to use. That means a more useful home screen, easier navigation, a better way to manage loan payments, and stronger security behind the scenes.

Some things will look different, and a few familiar buttons will be in new places, but the goal is straightforward: make Digital Banking easier to use and help members get where they need to go faster.

Here’s what’s changing

A home screen that will be more useful for members

Once the new site is live, the first thing you’ll probably notice is the new home page.

Your accounts and balances will still be easy to see, but the updated digital experience will do a lot more than it does today. You’ll be able to mark favorite accounts, see recent activity as soon as you sign in, and get to the things you use most without digging through menus.

If you regularly transfer money, use Zelle, manage your cards, or make payments, those shortcuts can be right there when you log in.

The new layout can also be more useful based on how you actually bank with Nuvision. Someone with several checking accounts may want quick access to transfers and payments, while someone with a certificate may be more interested in account information or exploring other products.

The idea is to make the home screen feel less like a generic starting point and more like a useful snapshot of the things that matter to you.

The Mobile App Is Getting Easier to Use Too

We’ve also spent a lot of time looking at the mobile experience.

One of the changes is a simpler way to move between accounts. Rather than scrolling through a long list, you'll be able to swipe through your accounts along the top of the screen and tap into whichever one you want. Recent activity and account details show up on the main screen too.

We've also moved the most-used buttons toward the bottom of the screen. It sounds like a small thing. It isn't. If you're holding your phone in one hand, everything you reach for most often is now under your thumb.

No More Hunting Through Menus

Over the years we've added a lot to Digital Banking — more tools, more services, more options. The tradeoff is that the website menus got crowded. Members have told us they can't always find where to make a payment or where a particular service lives. We heard you, and that's the exact problem this update is meant to solve.

Long drop-down menus are being replaced with cleaner pages that group related things together and explain what each option does. Looking for transfers, payments, branch locations, secure messages, appointments, or rates? It'll be clear where to go.

Each of those pages also has a search bar. Type "payment" and you'll see every payment option available to you, no need to remember which menu you used last time. The mobile app works the same way.

Loan payments in one place

We're also changing how you make payments on Nuvision loans.

The new loan payment experience connects directly to Digital Banking, so more of what you need lives in one place. If you have more than one loan with us, you'll see them together — current balance, amount due, due date, and whether AutoPay is already set up.

That should put an end to "where do I make this payment?" and "did I already set this up?"

You'll still be able to make payments outside of Digital Banking, including by phone. But the experience inside Digital Banking will be far easier to follow.

Stronger Login Security Is Also Coming

Not every change is about how Digital Banking looks. Some of the most important changes are happening behind the scenes to better protect your account.

Enhanced authentication will soon be required for all members when signing in. If you haven’t set it up yet, Digital Banking will walk you through the process. You’ll use a Secure Access Code during the initial setup, and after that, enhanced authentication will become part of the way you securely access your account.

There’s a good reason for the change. Nuvision has already seen a meaningful reduction in losses tied to online account takeovers since enhanced authentication was introduced. Expanding that added protection to all members is another step toward making Digital Banking safer without making it harder to use.

Why Change It Now?

A lot of this comes directly from what members have been telling us.

Some parts of the mobile experience have been harder to use than they should be. Certain features have been difficult to find. And loan payments have come up repeatedly as something that can take too much clicking around to figure out. In fact, when members report a problem with Digital Banking, one of the most common complaints is simply: “I can’t find what I’m looking for.”

That’s what these changes are meant to fix.

This isn’t just a new look. We’re reworking the parts of Digital Banking that have caused the most frustration, making everyday tasks easier to find, strengthening account security, and creating a better foundation for new features we can add in the future.

Built Around How Our Members Bank

At Nuvision, we’re always looking for ways to make banking easier, more useful, and more secure for our members. These Digital Banking updates are part of that ongoing effort.

We know change can take a little getting used to, especially when it involves something you use all the time. That’s why we’ll continue to sharie updates, tips, and resources as the new experience rolls out.

At the end of the day, Digital Banking should work the way you need it to: quick when you’re in a hurry, simple when you’re trying to find something, and secure every time you log in. That’s what we’re working toward, and we’re looking forward to bringing these improvements to our members.
