BBQs, live music, and celebrations! See what’s coming up in Alaska and Wyoming
With summer in full swing, the exciting events on our calendar are rapidly approaching. From BBQs to the Freedom Ride, we can’t wait to spend some time connecting with the community, honoring local heroes, and celebrating our outstanding members.
Check out what’s coming up in each of our markets!
In Wyoming…
Kick off your summer at our first annual Freedom Ride on Independence Day weekend
To support our first responders, we are sponsoring a two-hour Freedom Ride through Wyoming and Colorado in partnership with High Country Harley Davidson. At the end of the ride, we’ll also host a free BBQ lunch, guest speakers, live music by Sunshine
James, and an awards presentation where we will honor two incredible organizations--High Plains Honor Flight and Dogs and Tags of Wyoming.
The ride will run from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, with the ceremony and lunch following the finish. All active-duty military, veterans, firefighters, EMS, police, and first responders are invited to join us on July 3rd to ride in celebration of our nation’s
freedom. To find more details or to register, please visit the event landing page here.
Join us for our first Member Appreciation Event in the Cheyenne area
If you thought our other member celebrations looked like a blast, you’ll be glad to hear that we’re hosting our first member appreciation event in the Cheyenne area on July 10th from 12 – 4 pm!
Guests will be treated to a catered dinner (tacos from Pioneer BBQ and gourmet loaded fries from Mile High Fries food truck), drinks, shaved ice, and live music by the Taylor Scott Band. They’ll also enjoy remarks by special guest speakers and a
brief donation presentation from Nuvision to a local charity.
In addition to musical entertainment, our youngest guests can take advantage of the Depot Plaza’s splash pad and free balloon art from Alpacaglobo Ballon artist Cecelia Villar.
Join other hardworking members and community heroes and leaders as we relax, unwind, and celebrate all we’ve accomplished together. Click Here to Learn more about the event.
Or join us in Casper for dinner, jazz, and our first Member Appreciation Event in that area
We’re hosting the first member celebration event for Casper-area members on Wednesday, July 28th at The Tate Pumphouse in Casper, WY. Situated along the Platte River Trail, The Tate Pumphouse provides a scenic venue for member guests
to enjoy dinner and entertainment as a ‘thank you’ for continued support and membership.
Live music from Culmination, a local jazz group, will be held during the cocktail hour from 5:00-6:00, with dinner and guest speakers to follow.
Catering will be provided by Occasions By Cory, and guests will hear a short presentation by guest speakers from Jason’s Friends Foundation, an organization providing support to families of children with childhood cancer. Click here for more information on the event.
In Alaska…
Celebrate freedom with the local community at our Nuvision Alaska Member Appreciation Day BBQ
Before you head off to watch evening fireworks, stop by our Financial Center for lunch, activities for the kids, and opportunities for family fun in the Alaska sunshine. We want to spend this holiday together as a community, remembering the liberties we all have and share as citizens in this country. We will have BBQ from Sal’s New York Grill, Jeepney’s Food Truck, and Midnight Sun Brewing will be there too!
The event will be held in our Financial Center parking lot from 11 am – 2 pm. Even if you can only join us for an hour or two, we’d love to see you there! Click here to learn more!
Let us thank you with live music, free dinner, and drinks at our Member Appreciation Event
On August 19th, we’ll be spending the evening outdoors with live music, free dinner, and drinks! Members, local heroes, and community partners will be invited to this event, put on by Nuvision to celebrate the hard-working people and heroes in our community.
As guests gather in downtown Anchorage, they’ll be treated to a show from a leading local country jazz band and their special guests. This allows us not only to honor members, but it also provides an opportunity to support local artists and restaurants that pushed through the pandemic.
We can’t wait to gather all the people who inspire us in one place. We’ll be recognizing members, along with local heroes and leaders of charities and organizations we partner with in the community.
We’re always planning exciting events to thank members like you! Stay up to date by following us on Facebook and Instagram.
