Things to do on Father's Day in Southern California
They taught us to drive, fish, ride a bike, and fix things. Dad’s really are heroes. If you’re looking for a fun activity to do with your dad this weekend, check out some of the events going on right in our community:

Cost: $80/adult and $22/child, season seat holders get discounted pricing
Give Dad the gift of an Angel Stadium experience. Event guests will enjoy the opportunity to play catch in the outfield, hit from the Angels’ batting cages, and take part in an exciting behind the scenes stadium tour. Afterward, you can look forward to more interactive games, photo opportunities, trivia, raffles, giveaways, and even a BBQ picnic buffet in the Lexus Diamond club! All fathers will receive a special gift, along with a ticket voucher to a future game.
Queen Mary’s Father’s Day Celebration

Cost: $69 without champagne, $79 with champagne, $24 for children
The Queen Mary welcomes all fathers and families for a spectacular day dining at sea. Brunch selections include over 50 unique dishes from across the world. Enjoy a western breakfast with omelets, eggs benedict, and homemade hash; try Hot n’ Sour soup and Asian style ribs; or bring your plate to their carving station for some prime rib. The day will include live entertainment, champagne, and the beautiful sights onboard the Queen Mary.
Father's Day All You Can Eat Brunch & Unlimited Beermosas

This buffet-style brunch includes prime rib, slow smoked pork loin, scrambled eggs, bacon, fried potatoes, seafood, a waffle bar, pastries, and many more dishes Dad will love. Does dad love cars? Bring the whole family to the Brea Classic Car Show’s largest show yet. You’ll see some of the hottest vehicles in Southern California, and can celebrate the day walking through the restaurant, shops, and theaters in Downtown Brea.
Father's Day: Blues & Brunch Celebration
When: June 16th, 2019 from 1 pm – 4 pm

Brunch and Blues is the perfect place to celebrate. With an upbeat environment and good food, Dad is sure to have a good time. Enjoy music from The Nu Breed Band and Mr. Sonny Green, and an assortment of different Southern foods provided by Chef Lonell Catering.
Pasadena Police 18th Annual Father's Day Car Show
When: June 16-17th, 2019
Where: Paseo Colorado (300 E. Green St., Pasadena, CA)

Celebrate Father’s Day with an afternoon of live music, food booths, raffle prizes, and awesome cars! There will also be a police helicopter auction, as well as other exciting activities. Everybody in the community is invited to enjoy this event.
Father's Day 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon
When: June 15th, 2019 at 7:30 am
Where: Long Beach path in Belmont Shores (5400 E. Ocean Blvd. Long Beach, CA)
Cost: 5k $30; 10k $35; 15k $40; Half Marathon $45
Enjoy a fun run along the beach. This run is clocked timed and will have aid stations stocked with water, Gatorade, granola bars, and a variety of other snacks. All participants will have their results posted on Facebook and will receive free pictures from the event and a medal.

Where: Whimsy Pasadena (40 Mills Pl, Pasadena, CA)
Cost: $40/person
If Dad needs some time to relax, this paint and sip could be a great way to de-stress. Spend 1.5 hours learning to paint with an expert instructor who will talk you through the process of creating a Father's Day-inspired painting. All ages are invited to attend. Supplies will be provided, along with one complimentary soft drink.
