NUVISION'S MOST SUCCESSFUL TOYS FOR TOTS
Throughout the past month, Nuvision Federal Credit Union has been working with Col. Ken Graham of the Seal Beach Cadets in a joint effort to gather toys for underserved children living in Orange County. This year’s Toys for Tots donation drive was a huge success, and our biggest one to date. All the donations from members, employees, and the local community helped us fill seven boxes. In total, we sent 100 toys to families in need.
“You’re going to put a lot of smiles on kids’ faces this year,” said Col. Ken Graham.
We love supporting the military in their goals
Each year, thousands of marines give their time and energy to make sure every child is cared for during Christmas. Thanks to Toys for Tots, a total of 18 million toys have been donated to children nationwide. We are so grateful for this chance to help them on their mission and do something good in our community. Our commitment to serving veterans doesn’t just mean supporting them, it means supporting their goals too.
Serving our community together
Our partnership with the Seal Beach Cadets was a huge part of our success, but there were also many others who helped make this toy drive possible. We couldn’t have pulled it off without all the support we received from our members and the community.
To thank those people and wrap up the toy collection campaign, we hosted an event a few weeks ago at our Edinger branch. Holiday carolers serenaded the main lobby while a complimentary continental breakfast was served for members who donated a toy or just dropped by for a quick hello. Each donation allowed members to participate in a raffle for a $25 Amazon gift card as a thank you for their loyalty and generosity.

We would like to thank the Seal Beach Cadets, Refuge Church, Visit Huntington Beach | Surf City USA, Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce, and The Local HB for being proud partners for our Toys for Tots Donation Drive. We would also like to thank The Music Companie, Corner Bakery, Balloonzilla, and SoCal Party Rentals for delivering the magic for our members.
We are so amazed by how many toys we were able to donate this season. Every toy—from the scooters to the smallest stuffed animals-- helped make a difference in a child’s life. We couldn’t have done this without great members like you who support our mission to make our community better.
By being a Nuvision member, you are an important part of our success in community outreach. From this Toys for Tots toy drive to our motorcycle Honor Ride that raised $1,500 for veterans, the past year has been great for giving. We look forward to the new year and all the ways we’ll be able to continue our commitment to supporting veterans and the community.
