Nuvision’s Memorial Day Events Support Veterans and Active Military
Nuvision has a proud history supporting the military and making a difference for our veterans who selflessly sacrificed their lives. This past Memorial Day, Nuvision again showed that its support goes beyond providing members with exceptional financial services and products.
This is the third event Nuvision has hosted in the last 12 months to support veterans and active military. However, this time to further spread their support, in addition to the events at its headquarters in Huntington Beach, Nuvision:
- Sponsored a motorcycle Honor Ride to support Veterans Outreach OC;
- Held a free gas giveaway and free barbeque lunch at FE Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming; and
- Provided free breakfast for 80 veterans at The Boeing Company in Mesa, Arizona.
“I appreciate Nuvision’s support for veterans,” said a member who attended the BBQ in Cheyenne. “I know they do a lot for veterans out in California, but I’m glad to see that they are now also doing this here and in Arizona.”
Said a veteran who received a free tank of gas: “This is great, especially with the price of gas as it is nowadays. I plan to go to Nuvision for this every Veterans Day and Memorial Day.”
The Honor Ride included 60 motorcycle riders who rode through Orange and Riverside counties. The ride raised $1,500 from donations and Nuvision contributed $2,500 to Veterans Outreach OC, which provides shared affordable housing for single male veterans. Nuvision also gave away more than 700 free tanks of gasoline and provided a BBQ lunch to almost 800 veterans and active military, and their families.
