The IRS has proposed adding a reporting provision to the $3.5 billion spending bill currently being discussed in Congress, which will require financial institutions like Nuvision to report all transactional information about your spending habits to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). We feel it is our responsibility to alert members about this concerning legislation and provide you with as much information as possible to help you push back against this infringement on your rights.

Dave Badgett is a former fireman, Vietnam war veteran, Naval Postgraduate School instructor, and public safety consultant. He was also one of the leaders of a Los Angeles Fire Department specialty team flown across the country to respond to the 9/11 attacks. In his 32 years with the LAFD facing high-rise fires, shootings, riots, brushfires, and airplane crashes, nothing compared to those days spent in New York. For his courage and lifelong dedication to public safety, we are honoring Dave as a Nuvision hero.
Apply for the California COVID-19 Rent Relief Program by Sept. 30th
For our California members, the state’s eviction moratorium is set to expire for September 30th which will affect members who currently rent property. We encourage those to apply for the California COVID-19 Rent Relief Program to get assistance for expenses such as rent, utilities, and use housing protections to prevent evictions.
