Memorial Day is a somber reminder of the brave soldiers who lost their lives while fighting for our freedoms. While we can never repay these heroes, we try to find ways to honor our local veterans while recognizing those no longer with us today.
All veterans and active-duty military are invited to attend a free appreciation BBQ sponsored by Nuvision Alaska this Memorial Day, May 26th from 12:30 AM-3:00 PM AKDT. Our friends at American Legion Jack Henry Post 1 are our host venue, located at 840 W Fireweed Ln., Anchorage, AK 99503
This event is open to any veteran, you do not need to be a member of the American Legion or Nuvision to attend.
- Memorial Day Ceremony presented by the American Legion & Nuvision.
- Free BBQ luncheon catered by Peppercini’s.
- Live Music from the acclaimed Nothin' but Trouble.
- Community building and fellowship with veterans and their families.
