Nuvision Welcome's Cheyenne

Sep 27, 2018, 14:29 PM by Nuvision Credit Union

It’s been nearly a month since Nuvision officially merged with two credit unions in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and we are proud to say that the merger is now complete. All three of our teams are now working together toward the common goal of supporting our members.

At Nuvision, we have loved working with and getting to know the Cheyenne team. We’ve seen the power of our shared commitment to hard-working people and military families come to life as our teams join forces. Together, we hosted a Memorial Day gas giveaway and free barbeque lunch at FE Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne. On that day alone, we gave away 700 free tanks of gasoline and provided a BBQ lunch to almost 800 veterans and active military. This is the kind of community involvement we love, and thanks to the merger, we’ll be able to host even more events like it.

But it’s not just the community that’s benefiting from this merger. There are major perks for our new Cheyenne members too. They now have access to some of the best financial benefits around, including low student loan rates, more mortgage loan options, new account options, easier account access, extended phone service hours, and additional mobile technologies.

There is so much more in store for the future. Through this process, we’ve seen that the citizens of Cheyenne really do share our vision of working to build something better, and we’re certain that together we can make this dream a reality. We look forward to increasing our outreach programs in the Cheyenne area and helping our new members achieve their goals.

So, to celebrate all we’ve accomplished with this merger so far, we are hosting a welcome event Thursday, October 18th at the Little America Hotel and Resort. Come out and enjoy a fun evening filled with food, entertainment, and insights into the local Cheyenne economy. You’ll get the chance to meet the Nuvision team and other members, as well as speakers and performers including:

  • Anne Alexander, Associate Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and economics Ph.D. from the University of Wyoming
  • Shimshi, acclaimed Las Vegas illusionist, last magician standing on America’s Got Talent, and performer at many of Hollywood’s biggest events
  • Andrew Brightman, KGWN's morning show meteorologist

There is no charge for this event, but seating is limited to the first fifty members. You’ll want to register early to secure your spot. To register now, click here. We look forward to seeing you there!
