Congratulations to our Added Advantage Summer Giveaway 2021 Winners!
Peggie R wasn’t sure what would happen when she signed up for our Added Advantage Summer giveaway, something she’d never done before.
“I didn’t think I would win anything,” she said. But she decided to give it a try anyway. Peggie walked away with $1,000—on her first time entering the giveaway.
“For your organization to do this for members is awesome!” she said. “I have plans to pay a bill or two, but I may pick a time to get away and head to Twin Buttes for a fishing trip!”
‘I’m so surprised by this, I honestly don’t know what to do at this point!’
Wai F has been a member for 34 years, since the early days when Nuvision was the credit union for Douglas Aircraft. She was also our $2,500 grand prize winner. When Wai heard the news, she couldn’t believe it.
“I honestly don’t know what to do at this point!” she said. “I might use the prize money to help with some medical expenses."
“I’m still working for Boeing, and I am glad to be with you for the long run. You have helped me out in countless ways, and I am grateful for your service,” Wai said.
Oliver M, member of 14 years, was also stunned when he heard he’d won the $500 prize.
“I am just too shocked right now,” he said. Oliver plans to put the money towards bills and use what is left to treat himself.
For many members, like $1,000 prize winner Douglas B, the timing of their surprise giveaway money was perfect.
“This came just at the right time,” he said. “I am planning to install solar panels on the roof of my home. Without this additional bonus, I would have to completely wipe out my savings to get this project going, so thank you so much!”
Douglas has also been with Nuvision since the early days.
“I’ve been with Nuvision since the McDonnell Douglas days and ever since I started working with Boeing, your credit union has helped me every step of the way with my financial goals.”
‘Every time I walk inside the Edinger branch, they know who I am.’
Many winners told us how appreciated they felt, and how much Nuvision felt like a family. One of those members was Nicole S, who has been with Nuvision for 15 years. She recently won $500 in our giveaway.
“Your team helped me so much with my first mortgage,” she said. “I love the customer service and every time I walk inside the Edinger branch, they know who I am.”
Alina C, $1,000 prize winner and member of 8 years, has loved the community ever since her mom helped her set up an account in high school.
“Your team has been nothing but supportive and helpful throughout the years,” she said. As for the prize money, Alina plans to invest it in her savings.
“You can never be too careful,” she said.
Joe G has felt the same about Nuvision, even though he’s only been a member for 3 years. When Joe was moving, team members stepped in to ease the stress of the changes.
“Liz helped me so much when I moved from California out to Arizona,” he said. “She and the rest of the Mesa branch team made me feel so comfortable and that’s why I am sticking with your credit union”
Joe plans on using his $500 prize to enjoy himself. “I can’t believe this happened to me, but I think I’ll treat myself to something nice this summer at least.”
