How first responders change the world
As tragic as it is, disasters happen. Sometimes they’re small and easily controlled, but sometimes they’re big—so big they rock an entire nation.
Catastrophes have a way of revealing the heroes among us: the neighbors, friends, co-workers, and passersby we encounter each day who would give everything to protect a stranger. They remind us that living right here in our communities, there are first responders that stop at nothing to ensure the safety of those around them. Our first responders deserve every bit of our respect. Without them, the bad situations that occur would be even more devastating. That’s why Nuvision wants to take the next month to really show our appreciation to the people who step up in emergencies.
We're inviting first responders to enjoy some relaxing days—costs on us
To thank the first responders for all they do, Nuvision is having a special giveaway all month. From Wednesday, September 11th to Monday, September 30th, we’ll be handing out $30 movie tickets, In-n-Out gift cards or spa vouchers to the firefighters, doctors, nurses, EMT personnel, paramedics, and police officers (with valid ID/certification) who visit our Edinger branch. Each first responder who comes to the Edinger location will have a choice of picking one of the three options available.
In addition, this will also apply to any retired employees in those fields as well as those who are in their residency/training programs as long as they show a valid ID/certification.
We’ll also honor the heroes who go above and beyond to serve their communities a similar way in Cheyenne. On September 11th, any of the first 200 to come to any of the three branch locations will receive a $25 gas gift card.
A commitment to honoring the brave
This event is part of our ongoing effort to honor the heroes in our community: from the Memorial Day gas giveaway to handing out KIND bars to nurses, we want everybody making sacrifices to feel appreciated.
After all, it’s not a role everybody could take on. First responders make that choice to keep the rest of us safe, even at a personal expense and that kind of heroism needs to be celebrated.
