Nuvision Credit Union has initiated “Emergency Response Loan” protocols for members who may be affected by this U. S. Government partial shutdown.

Nuvision’s Emergency Response Loan program is designed to temporarily assist members during extremely difficult financial times. Some of the features of this program for our government employee members include:

  • Unsecured Loans – these may be granted for a period of up to five years, and for amounts up to $5,000, at a rate 1% below our published A+ credit tier.
  • Home Equity Lines of Credit – these loans will be offered without the normal income qualifiers, up to $25,000.
  • Payment Deferrals – members may request a loan payment deferral, for up to a 90-day period, or to extend their loan payments for up to six months of ½ payments.
  • Mortgage Loans – Nuvision has also initiated several programs to assist members who are seeking a mortgage loan. For example, if a member is a government employee and cannot supply tax transcripts (required as part of the mortgage paperwork), we will continue their loan process and run their tax transcripts after the government resumes full operations.

Nuvision is proud to serve all of our members, and particularly to assist members who are affected by this partial federal government shutdown, as appropriate. Please visit your branch or contact the Call Center at 800.444.6327 if you have questions about how we can support your financial needs in these times.
