Honoring the Brave: Veterans Day Celebrations
As we approach Veterans Day, it is important to remember and honor the service of those who have given so much to protect our freedoms and way of life. Veterans embody bravery, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to their country. For many, their selfless service continues long after they’ve returned from active duty, enriching our communities and continuing to give back in a number of ways.
Nuvision is humbled and proud to stand beside our veterans. In the spirit of respect and admiration, Nuvision is hosting a series of events to honor our heroes this Veterans Day.
Veterans Day Appreciation Breakfast in California
On Saturday, November 11, Nuvision will be hosting a special breakfast to honor active military and veterans from 8:00 AM-10:00 AM. Taking place between the Nuvision Corporate building in Huntington Beach and the neighboring Refuge Calvary Chapel, the event will feature a brief outdoor ceremony, and a fascinating display of military vehicles dating back to World War II. Attendees will not only enjoy a catered breakfast but will also receive a $25 gas card in appreciation for their service.
Veterans Day Appreciation Luncheon in Anchorage, Alaska
Later the same day, a similar event will take place in Anchorage, Alaska from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM AKST. Held at the American Legion Jack Henry Post 1, the Veterans Day Appreciation Luncheon will offer food, music, and fellowship. The first 250 veterans to attend will also receive a $25 gas card.
Gas Card Giveaways
To show our gratitude and appreciation, Nuvision is also organizing Gas Card Giveaways in Alaska and Wyoming. In Alaska, gas cards will be available for pick-up at branches in Fairbanks, Juneau, Kenai, and Wasilla on November 10th from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM. Meanwhile, Wyoming veterans can pick up their gas cards in either the Casper or 18th Street Branch in Cheyenne on Thursday, November 10th from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM.
Veterans Day Appreciation Luncheon in Cheyenne, Wyoming
Nuvision is also holding an annual Veterans Day Appreciation Luncheon at Francis E. Self American Legion Post 6 in Cheyenne. Join the Nuvision team for a wonderful meal and a special ceremony hosted by Post 6, taking place on Saturday, November 11th from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM.
Anchorage Senior Activity Center Veterans Day Celebration
On November 9th, the Anchorage Senior Activity Center (ASAC) will be celebrating Veterans Day from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM AKST. Nuvision is honored to sponsor this event, providing meals for senior veterans at no cost. Last year’s event was a grand success, and this year, the in-person celebration promises to be even better, featuring presentations, music, and speeches from dignitaries.
