Important Security Notice: Protect Your Personal Information

We want to bring a critical matter to your attention to ensure the safety and security of your accounts with Nuvision Credit Union.

Recently, there have been reports of fraudulent individuals posing as representatives of our credit union and attempting to gain access to personal information, account numbers, and PINs from our members through various means including phone calls and emails.

The security of our members is of the utmost importance to us.  To help protect your accounts, please consider the following essential steps:

  • Verify Caller Identity: If you receive a phone call claiming to be from Nuvision Credit Union, you will not be asked to provide your full social security number, account number, usernames, passwords, or PINs.  If you are asked to provide information like this, ask for the caller's name and position. Then, disconnect the call and reach out to us using the phone number that appears on your statements or on our website.
  • Never Share Sensitive Information: We will never ask for your full account number, PIN, or other sensitive information over the phone or email. Do not share this information with anyone.
  • Do not agree to install any software or programs on your device:  The credit union will never ask you to install a program on your device nor share your screen.
  • Report Suspicious Activity: If you suspect a fraudulent call or email, please report it to us immediately. You can reach our Member Contact Center at (800-444-6327).

We are actively working to identify and prevent these fraudulent activities, and we appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain the security of your accounts.
