Celebrating the Grand Opening of Nuvision’s Newest Branch in Costa Mesa
On August 14, Nuvision executives and public officials from the Costa Mesa area gathered around Nuvision’s newest branch to watch as CEO Roger Ballard cut the ribbon in celebration of the grand opening. The new office—the second in Costa Mesa and eighth in Orange County—will feature updated branch technology designed to provide easier access and added convenience for a growing number of Nuvision members. The other Costa Mesa branch, located at 3195 Harbor Boulevard, has operated in the Newport Beach-Costa Mesa area since 2009. To celebrate the last ten years serving the community and demonstrate a continued commitment with the opening of the new branch, Nuvision also donated $1,000 to the Newport Harbor High School Foundation as part of the grand opening celebrations.
A Better Customer Experience
“We are really proud to open our second location in Costa Mesa near Newport Beach,” said Nuvision CEO, Roger Ballard. “This office will offer our most innovative branch technology. Members have the option to conduct traditional banking with a personal banker or to use electronic banking for added speed and convenience. Whether you visit us in a branch, online, or on the phone, we want to make sure our members have a great experience in all of their interactions with us.”
The 298 East 17th Street branch features two interactive teller machines, one ATM, one smart office with live video and telephone connection to specialty bankers, two flex/private conversation offices, and a refreshment station. The front lobby where the interactive machines are located will have live video teller access throughout the week and will provide ATM services 24/7. Branch Manager Tess Bermudez and her team will also be available to assist members with a full range of financial products and services, including checking and savings accounts, auto and boat loans, home mortgage, business and commercial lending, investment services, and other banking services.
Giving Back to the Community
While the new office is expected to make the lives of Nuvision members easier, the community has already felt the effects of its opening. After the ribbon cutting, Branch Manager Tess Bermudez and her staff presented a $1,000 check to Newport Harbor High School Foundation Executive Director Diana Long. The donation will aid the Hope for Harbor club, which supports the needs of Harbor High’s homeless students and families and works in conjunction with Project Hope Alliance, a Costa Mesa-based nonprofit that helps homeless families.
Nuvision Federal Credit Union is always looking for ways to give back to the communities we serve and help the next generation find a path to financial success. Leading the fight for financial literacy in Orange County, Nuvision provides financial education in local schools and runs an annual essay contest that awards winning students with college scholarships. The program also includes donations to participating schools and sound financial education, helping students achieve their educational and personal goals. We are very pleased to be able to continue this tradition of giving back and helping the younger generation with the opening of our new branch
