On September 4, 2018, First Cheyenne Federal Credit Union and Unified People’s Federal Credit Union will merge with Nuvision Credit Union. We are excited to extend our reach to the residents of Cheyenne--a town built upon the values of hard work, passion, and the belief that they could build something better.

Born nearly a century ago as the credit union for Douglas Aircraft, Nuvision Credit Union’s values were forged in the factories and plants that made the Southwest prosper. At Nuvision’s core is a commitment to strength, independence, and discipline. A belief that if you work hard enough, a better life is always possible. Not just for yourself, but for future generations to come.

For more than 80 years, we’ve been helping our members work toward their life goals and make important financial decisions--providing them with all the services of a robust financial institution, without the disadvantages of a large, for-profit bank. Now, after serving our local community for so many years, we look forward to doing the same for the citizens of Cheyenne, Wyoming.

A Community-Centered Approach

Nuvision has always been a strong partner in its own community, since its founding nearly a century ago. Outreach programs like our recent Memorial Day “free gas for military” event help us express our gratitude for the hard-working men and women in our community.

This merger between credit unions with a shared commitment to hard-working and military families will enable us to supply the best financial benefits to the Cheyenne community, which includes easier account access, new account options, low student loan rates, more mortgage loan options, extended phone service hours and additional mobile technologies, as well as a host of other financial services. Through these partnerships, we are excited to be able to increase our outreach and support programs in the Cheyenne area, as well as expand our involvement in all of the communities we serve.
