What are the hours of operation for the Member Contact Center and Live Chat?
Member Contact Center hours are Monday – Friday 7AM to 7PM PST and Saturday 9AM – 2PM PST.
I can no longer use telephone banking. What do I do?
Please try our Virtual Member support. It can help you with everything you had, as well as much more!
Phone lines are stating long wait times and I can't get through. How do I talk to a representative?
We realize there will be high call volumes, and wait times. We appreciate your understanding during this time and ask for your patience or you can also use our convenient call back option.
Will my transactional history be available by contacting the Member Contact Center and/or visiting a branch location on February 18, 2025?
No, there will be no transactional history prior to February 18. Only new transactions from your Nuvision account will be displayed in your accounts transaction history. Members can refer to your past SafeAmerica statements to view prior activity.
How do members access statements to view transactional history and for how far back can they go?
Members may access up to 24 months of history, which will be available only through eStatements within digital banking. To access this information, members must log into digital banking and opt-in to receive eStatements beginning Tuesday, February 18th.
When will the final SafeAmerica statement (2/1-2/17) be available to members?
Final SafeAmerica account statements will be processed on Monday, February 17, 2025, with estimated availability in eStatements by Monday, February 24, 2025. Paper statements are estimated to arrive within two weeks of processing
How can a SafeAmerica member request statement(s) if they cannot access through digital banking?
SafeAmerica account statements which are unavailable online can be requested by completing a “Statement Copy Request” under Services within online banking or by contacting the Member Contact Center at 800.444.6327
Will my checking account and routing number change?
Yes, your routing number will change, and your account number will be a 12-digit account number. We will honor and clear any outstanding SafeAmerica CU checks that have been written until October 18, 2025. Members must order new checks with their new account & routing numbers soon after February 18.
What will happen to checks that I have ordered (paid for) and am using? Will I have to purchase new checks?
Any outstanding SafeAmerica CU checks will continue to be honored and clear until October 18, 2025. At the earliest convenience members should order new checks with the new routing and account number.
I write checks often and I will need a few through the conversion- Will I receive any new checks in the mail?
Yes, if you have written checks in the past three months, you will receive a letter that will include three checks you may use that will have your new account and routing number.

What will happen to my auto debits (ACH) and direct deposits?
ACH and Direct Deposit (Payroll Deposits and Government issued benefits, such as Social Security, Disability, etc.) will continue to process without interruption until April 19, 2025; However, it is required to update your financial information with your provider to your new account and routing number prior to this date to avoid a disruption in service.
How do I set up a recurring payment after February 18, 2025?
Beginning February 18, 2025, members have multiple options to set up one-time payments or recurring payments. On February 18, members can begin to originate a one-time payment or recurring payments to a loan(s) using Nuvision’s EZPay Portal, located on the website (nuvisionfederal.com) under the “Make a Payment” section. (nuvisionfederal.com). Member payment options include ACH and Debit Cards Recurring monthly auto ACH to closed end loans through an ACH Origination & Authorization. Source can be from a savings or checking account from an external financial institution. Routing & Account number required. Additionally, recurring auto payments from internal account sources can also be set up through online banking. Members can also contact our Member Contact Center at (800) 444-6327 for additional guidance.
I make my payment on the SafeAmerica Credit Union "One Time Payment" link...Will I continue to make my payment there?
After February 7, the web payment center will be disabled, and payment will no longer be allowed to be processed. However, you can continue to make payments between February 8 – 13 via Online Banking, branch or by calling 800-972-0999 ext. 294. On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, you can visit our EZPay Portal at Make a Payment (nuvisionfederal.com) to set up recurring ACH payments or make a one-time payment using another financial institution.
Will SafeAmerica Credit Union members continue to accrue points on their credit card post conversion?
Visa ScoreCard Rewards points will not be carried over to your new Nuvision credit card. Visa ScoreCard Rewards will stop accruing on January 31, 2025. Visa ScoreCard Rewards must be redeemed by February 13, 2025, otherwise the points will expire. You will begin to accrue your new Nuvision CURewards points once you activate and start using your Nuvision Platinum Rewards credit card. The Nuvision Share Secured credit card does not earn any rewards.
When can I expect to receive my new debit and/or credit cards?
Debit cards are expected to be received no later than February 14th and credit cards no later than February 13th.
When can I activate & begin using my new debit & credit cards?
SafeAmerica debit cards can continue to be used through end of day Monday February 17, but they will not be able to view balances or make deposits through the ATM beginning Friday, February 14 due to the conversion. Nuvision debit cards can be activated beginning Tuesday February 18 by calling 866-985-2273. PIN numbers can be established at time of activation. SafeAmerica credit cards can continue to be used through end of day Thursday, February 13. Nuvision credit cards can be activated on Friday, February 14. Note: credit card limits may be limited due to conversion between Friday, February 14 and Tuesday, February 18.
If I activate my credit card on February 14, who will be able to assist me if I have questions/concerns from February 14 to February 18th?
During conversion weekend, call (855) 789-8189 for assistance.
When is my first due date for my Nuvision credit card?
The first due date will be April 27.
When will I get my first Nuvision credit card statement?
The first Nuvision credit card statement will be sent out around April 13.
Will my automatic payment to my Nuvision credit card need to be reset up?
Yes, any automatic payment for your Nuvision credit card will need to be re-established.
Will payments to mortgages set up through autopay from SafeAmerica Credit Union continue to work?
No. Unfortunately, the existing automatic payments to your SafeAmerica Credit Union mortgage will not be continued. On February 3, 2025, we will mail you information on how to make your mortgage payments to Nuvision Credit Union beginning February 19, 2025. You may also contact Nuvision’s Mortgage Servicing Center beginning February 18, 2025, at 888-262-0457 for assistance with your payments.
Will payments to mortgages continue to work if they are made from another financial institution from Bill Payment?
No. Since Nuvision Credit Union will begin servicing your mortgage on February 18, 2025, your account number and payment address will be changing. As a result, you will need to update your bill payment instructions with your financial institution. On February 3, 2025, we will mail you information on how to make your mortgage payments to Nuvision Credit Union, including your new account number and payment address. You may also contact Nuvision’s Mortgage Servicing Center with any questions you have beginning February 18, 2025, at 888-262-0457 for assistance.
