Midyear Update: Another Successful Year at Nuvision

On June 13, Nuvision held our Annual Member’s Meeting to share 2016’s successes, new program developments and a preview into what the upcoming fiscal year has in store. Nuvision has seen exceptional growth financially and in the rollout of new and improved services for our members. As we continue to grow, our commitment remains the same: to provide the best programs and services to better meet all of our members’ financial goals and provide more personalized service.

Highlights from this past year include:


  • Added Advantage. Our members mean everything to us, and we are showing our appreciation in rewarding you for your loyalty. Added Advantage provides benefits you’ll actually use, like higher dividends and lower loan rates. It’s free to join and earning points is easy.   • Financial Growth and Stability. As of December 31, 2016, Nuvision assets grew to more than $1.4 billion, thanks to our devoted Nuvision members and the conscientious, member-focused leadership behind our credit union. But Nuvision’s growth and success didn’t happen overnight; our team’s careful attention to interest rate changes, shifts in demographics and service requirement updates all played a role in ensuring our credit union’s strong, stable and healthy financial status.
  • Community Engagement. Nuvision is deeply committed to supporting our local community. Over this past year, we’ve partnered with several of the greatest organizations in the area and across the United States to do our part in helping others build their lives and fulfil their dreams. From the high school Essay Scholarship Program, American Cancer Society Relay for Life, and backpack and school supply giveaway to HB Youth Shelter and the Thomas House Shelter children, to CHOC Walk for Children’s Hospital OC, Toys for Tots, and pumping free gas for Veterans and active Military on Memorial Day, Nuvision rises up and takes responsibility and action for helping care for others in need.

Communication with our members is important at Nuvision. Whether it’s talking about your financial decisions and providing guidance about the best programs to meet your needs, or listening to your feedback on existing programs and ways we might improve the member experience, we take all our conversations to heart. Based on your input, we rolled out a series of new initiatives and improvements focused on your future success. This includes the unveiling of the new brand – “For the Life You Build,” as well as a new website with more user-friendly navigation and an upgraded mobile platform to make member transactions even easier.

These programs, and more are concentrated efforts we look to continue to build upon in the year to come. As we look forward, we plan for solid growth and deepening our relationships with our members and making sure our conversations with you matter.
