NUVISION IS BRINGING FINANCIAL LITERACY TO THE NEXT GENERATION

Our commitment to community goes far beyond banking. It’s rooted in the belief that we all thrive when we support one another. Building on our commitment to community outreach, Nuvision has partnered with experts to teach monthly “How Money Works” classes at Costa Mesa High School, where we empower students to take control of their personal finances.

 

We’ve also presented the program to students at Lakewood High School. Both programs were met with great interest and enthusiasm from students. These go beyond simple lectures. They’re honest, practical conversations—where we sit down with teens and talk real money. It’s about building the kind of stability that allows someone to say yes to the future they want, without fear holding them back.

*APY = Annual Percentage Yield. Rates effective as of 06/01/2025 and are subject to change at any time without notice.

1 To receive the promotional APY of 4.50% for the 7-month term, 5.50% for the 9-month term, or 4.25% for the 13-month term, a $1,000 minimum opening balance is required, which must be maintained daily to earn dividends and avoid closure. The 7-month and 13-month promotional certificates have no maximum deposit limits or restrictions on how many certificates can be opened. The maximum deposit limit for the 9-month promotional certificate is $5,000, with only one certificate available per owner. Promotional certificates are not eligible for Added Advantage Rate bump or discretionary pricing bump. Upon maturing, the promotional certificates will enter a seven-day grace period and, unless otherwise instructed by the member, will automatically roll over to a predetermined term at the then-prevailing APY. The 7-month certificate will convert to a 6-month term. The 9-month and 13-month certificates will convert to a 12-month term.

The APY for Certificates assumes principal and dividends paid monthly remain on deposit until maturity. If dividends are withdrawn prior to maturity, the APY will be lower. Dividends withdrawn may be considered a taxable distribution. Please consult a tax advisor. A penalty may be imposed for withdrawals made before maturity. Fees could reduce earnings on the account.
