HELP PROVIDE LOW-INCOME/HOMELESS STUDENTS FOOD BAGS OVER WINTER BREAK

Robyne's Nest is preparing holiday food bags that local schools will distribute to students in need while they are on break from school and not receiving free meals. That's why Nuvision is doing our part through our NuvisionCares Holiday Food Drive now through November 17, 2023, collecting food and financial donations to help those in need in our community.

IT'S EASY TO HELP 

Donate through our GoFundMe; proceeds go directly to Robyne’s Nest to help low income/homeless students.

Drop off any non-perishable food item to your nearest Nuvision branch.

WHAT ITEMS ARE NEEDED?

The items listed below are what go to ONE student while they are not in school that week. Please get canned items or plastic containers. No glass jars.

- 1 32oz jar of peanut butter

- 1 Bisquick Complete Biscuit mix (just add water)

- 2 pounds of spaghetti

- 1 pound bag of rice

- 4 boxes of macaroni and cheese

- 1 6-pack of ramen soup

- 1 box of Stove Top Stuffing

- 2 packs gravy

- 2 boxes of Jell-O

- 4 cans each of chicken/beef/tuna, veggies, and fruit (12 cans total)

- 2 cans hearty soups/chili

- Pretzels, Cheez-It and cheese fish type crackers, popcorn

- (2) $25 gift cards needed: Stater Bros., Grocery Outlet, Ralphs, Northgate, Aldi, 99 Cents, Walmart

The mission of Robyne’s Nest is to provide at-risk & homeless high school students, who are alcohol and drug free with little to no parental support, in the Huntington Beach High School District & Newport Mesa High Schools, with the resources and support to complete high school and pursue a path to self-sufficiency through college, trade school or military options.
