Hunger in our hometown is an unfortunate reality many of our neighbors struggle with. That’s why Nuvision Alaska is doing our part through our Help Fight Hunger Food Drive now through October 31, 2024, collecting food and financial donations to help those in need in our community.

HOW TO DONATE
Drop off non-perishable food to your Nuvision Branch in Anchorage or Eagle River. For a list of branch drop-off locations, please visit our website. Items of high need include canned fruit and vegetables, boxes of pasta, small bags of rice, and canned meat like tuna, beef, or chicken.
Donate online through our GoFundMe set up for Bean’s Cafe who operates The Children’s Lunchbox. All financial donations will be matched, up to $5,000 total.

"The Children’s Lunchbox, a program of Bean’s Café, addresses the concern of food insecurity among families in Anchorage, especially children. 14% of Anchorage children live in homes that experience food insecurity, and 32 % of Anchorage children live in poverty. The Children’s Lunchbox program provides premade meals and pantry packs (boxes of shelf-stable groceries) around the community every single day. Over 300,000 meals were provided to children and their families last year alone. We appreciate Nuvision Credit Union and all its employees. Thank you for helping us fight hunger, one meal at a time.
