I've had my NuVision account over 15 years & I'm still doing my banking with them. The service is always impeccably great. Whether you need financing or have a loan inquiry; they totally handle it! Refinancing an existing loan, well if you bank with them you can receive even lower than market rate interest. We've purchased 2 cars with them already & saved ourselves easily 3-5 % on the overall loan. Their goal is to accommodate their customers' needs. And since they're a credit union, it's also an advantage for auto, home, personal or business loans. I bank with them bc they really go out of their way to assist your every banking need! Our family loves them as well!

Aug 8, 2022Previous reviewMy wife & I have been banking for over 15 years & we've purchased numerous cars thru them & look forward to doing more years of business with them. Credit union banks are a lot more forgiving in more ways than regular commercial banks. Their loans are easily negotiated to lower rates with ease! Personally, I kept this one bc they provide a wider array of rates. Overall, thru the pandemic & till current they focus more on customer service! & their clients are all generally very satisfied. I know I am. My home branch is the Atlantic & Floral site. They are the BEST with rates & refinancing for auto or home loans. Thank You

This is my second car loan through nuvision and the people who have helped me out have always been kind and super informative. Carlos has been a huge help to me from selling my previous car to purchasing the next one. His service is top notch and is very patient with any questions i have had an has been able to explain them clearly to me so if you need help definitely talk to him.

This credit union is unable to complete the simplist tasks. I have been a member of this credit union for many years and it has been sold and resold a number of times. This time, it's horrible and anyone looking to join is not going/ to have a good experience. Within the last year and a half, they lost about 3 months of my banking information which includes payments to the IRS, mortgage payments etc. I spent hours online looking for a payment I knew was made I finally called them and after an hour and a half, they came back to tell me that they lost my data during some technical migration to a new platform. I have no data for that period and they never even offered to fix it. I have to call and explain and go through extra steps to access the information. They have to call the website department and each time it's 45-60 minutes.
I have called in to update my phone number and now it's not working. I don't get any alerts, notifications, and everything is correct in their system. Another hour.....
You can't use Venmo at this bank because when you download the app and get to the section where you enter your bank account info, Venmo asks you to contact your bank. Another hour... then they tell me that I am unable to set up Venmo with them because my phone isn't in the name that matches my account (it's in my husbands). So you mean to tell me, EVERY Venmo customer has to have their phone in the name that matches the account. Didn't make sense. We spent an hour on teh phone going through connecting Venmo to Nuvision but it didn't work. Get this, but I can send money from Nuvision using Venmo... just can't receive. I ended up easily connecting Venmo using another bank account. Took seconds...
I've called and asked them if they could block transactions that were coming into my account. I subscribed to a service and then canceled and they are still billing me even though I have emails from the service verifying they canceled the transactions. The rep told me they could not stop the transactions from coming in and I'd have to close my account or change my card number. What?!?
I also have a credit card with them and when I log into MY account to go make a payment, someone elses credit card is there!!! I almost paid someone elses credit card through my account! Spent another hour trying to fix that, it was 4 months ago, it's still not fixed.
I can go on and on but don't feel like this much typing. I hope you get it. Sign up with this credit union at your own risk. It's horrible.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

This is a outstanding credit Union. It a part of southern Gas Company and other large companies.You can add your children when get older. Credit percentages is better than other car loan.

I just have to say I'm so happy to be able to go in my Credit Union and be help by Sandra. She is so good at helping me with answering questions in regards to CAR LOANS. She has great customer services and very attentive. Definitely enjoy going in and being help by her!

NU Vision has generally beeni a great credit union to me and my family, but specially this branch, always nice to the customers even the guy that opens the door for you , but there is Carlos Lemus the Relationship Manager II ; he gets a Wow on his extraordinary service , I was trying to buy a vehicle for almost a yr and he was always there to help He was my pilar , helping me with the financing questions, recomendations. He made me feel like if the credit union was my family member helping me out and taking care of me . He was amazing, I am so happy Nu vision have people like him working there.
Super nice personality, caring profecional and went way Bove an beyond, I recommend you people visiting there, see him to help you.
To bad there is no more stars to give you all there.

I've been calling the bank for 4 days now. I get sent straight to voicemail. I've left a call back several times, I've left several messages and no call back. Seriously so annoying especially since I live 40min away it gets more tedious. Thinking of switching banks closer to me so I won't have any more problems

Tried calling again today. Option to leave phone # for VH last time failed. I called again today, didn't choose call back option. Waited 50 minutes and got a fast busy. Wait time for this 3rd call is currently 40 minutes. Message, we know your time is valuable. It is but, this is just canned IVR message. I will close my account, $$$. My last comment via this channel was met with an apology but, they didn't reach out to me directly. One way or another I will close my account and work with a bank that provides ease of access and real customer service.

Jun 10, 2022Previous reviewThis business has consistently failed. Today offered VH call and accepted. They failed. Called back chose to wait for rep, we're talking 50+ minutes both times. On each occassion as it drew near to time to speak with rep, pushed to fast busy signal. This is not the first experience with lack of customer service. If I have to go to a branch, I will. Closing account $, done with them. I'd rather put the $ in a mattress. Received response from Kim G. with apology asking me to try again via different channel. How about this? Call me, you have my numbers. This is on you NuVision, step up. Today's experience is a long list of many challenges dealing with this business. You fail to read and understand preceding feedback. I'll say your business is consistent. Cashing out as soon as I can. Check the other negative comments/experience, appears to be a canned response from Kim G asking the customer to try again via different channel. Read on for other customer yelp/help customer comments. At this point, seems I'll have to go into their Branch to cash out.

Today I went into Nuvision Credit Union feeling like a child trying to figure a unfamiliar math Problem. Nuvision credit union has been really good to me. Their entire staff is not only professional, they are so friendly and courteous!!!! Today was exceptional. I needed to wire a large amount of money. I went in totally unprepared. So when I was asked to fill out the transaction form I didn't even have my basic information with me. Luckily for me Lorraine Diaz was helping out here at the Monterrey park Location. She took charge and made me feel so comfortable!!! She executed the transaction quickly while checking that everything was done correctly!!!! She really made my morning!!! I want to recommend Nuvision Credit to anyone looking for a financial institution to do business with. Thank Nuvision and Thank You Lorraine Diaz!!!!!! 5+ STARS!!!!

We have more than a few accounts with Nuvision. We want make sure that we keep up with all of them. We had a bit of a concern with one of them. Went into the branch and spoke to an absolutely wonderful, young lady.

He was on top of things, so it gave my wife and I the highest confidence. We didn't have to worry about any of the paperwork because it was sent to even before we could ask. George is the best loan agent we've ever worked with!
