HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (October 23, 2014) – NuVision Federal Credit Union employees and members have donated over $75,000 since 2010 to support the Children’s Hospitals of Orange County and Los Angeles and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The credit union recently reached this fundraising milestone by participating in the annual ‘Light the Night’ event at Angel Stadium benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on September 27 and the ‘CHOC Walk in the Park’ event at Disneyland Resort on October 12.
“We are thrilled to have reached $75,000 in contributions since 2010 for these incredible organizations, and look forward to continuing our commitment to give back to the communities we serve,” said L.J. Tarman, Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations at NuVision Federal Credit Union. “These events have become an annual tradition at NuVision, and each year our dedicated employees and members step up to help us make a difference.”
So far this year, NuVision has raised over $7,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s ‘Light the Night’ event, bringing the total raised since 2010 to $29,500. Also this year, NuVision raised over $6,000 for the ‘CHOC Walk’ event, for a total of $20,500 since 2010. In addition, since 2011, NuVision has donated over $25,000 to the Children’s Miracle Network benefiting CHOC and CHLA.
