HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (November 28, 2012) – NuVision Federal Credit Union adopted 18 local military families last week to ensure each of them enjoyed a well-deserved Thanksgiving holiday meal.  Employees from NuVision’s 14 retail branches and Huntington Beach headquarters provided each family with an insulated bag filled with a $50 Ralph’s Gift Card, a $15 Marie Callender’s Gift Card, and an assortment of non-perishable food items.

This is the second year that NuVision has adopted military families for Thanksgiving, once again partnering with the USAR 79th SSC, HHD National Guard & Reserves Family Services Center.

“NuVision is proud to support a number of local charities and community organizations throughout the year, but it is a special honor for us to help those who serve in the military,” said L.J. Tarman, Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations at NuVision Federal Credit Union.  “We are so pleased to have the opportunity to thank the men and women who give so much to our country by giving back to them on the Thanksgiving holiday.”
